Frequently Asked Questions

Will Oleria from Bride of the Fae Prince have a book?

Yes. It will be the fourth Brides of the Fae book.

What Anastasis Blythe book should I start with?

You can start with any series or standalone that draws you in the most! There is no reading order across different series. The Zheninghai Chronicles and The King and The Assassin series should be read in chronological order. The Brides of the Fae series can be read in any order, but I do generally recommend reading in published order for the best experience.

Where can I find out if your books are clean or spicy?

All my books fall on the clean end of the spectrum with an emphasis on tension, chemistry, and swoon instead of spice, but you can find full details on content ratings, heat levels, and trigger warnings on the dedicated page for each book here on my site.

If the Brides of the Fae series and The King and the Assassin series happen in the same world, which series happens first in the world timeline, and which series should I start with?

The King and The Assassin happens a hundred years before the Brides of the Fae series. You can start with either series! You do not need to have read The King and The Assassin before Brides of the Fae, or vice versa. While they have crossover characters, they do not spoil each other, so you are free to read whichever one first that you prefer.

How do I get an ARC [advance reader copy] of your next book?

Sign up for my newsletter. I love giving away free copies of my books and I am so grateful for the help of my ARC team! I send out ARC calls to my newsletter a month before release with detailed instructions. Usually, the only requirement is to have read and reviewed the previous book in the series on Amazon—after that, it is handled on a first-come, first-served basis until I run out of copies. Occasionally, I do public ARC calls on Instagram, but that is only for standalones or first-in-series books, and I usually get far more requests than I have copies available. I always recommend signing up for my newsletter to increase your likelihood of getting a copy. I do not keep a running list of ARC readers but start fresh with each book. You must apply for every book you would like to review! I also highly recommend carefully reading the instructions I send out as most of the readers who are declined a copy are readers who did not follow the instructions and didn’t send the right information, or missed the deadline, or things like that.

What countries do you ship to from your shop?

Unfortunately, we can only ship to the continental United States at this time. We are looking into expanding if possible, but for now I would recommend checking your favorite online book retailer if you would like to get a hardcover edition of one of my books.

Why are physical copies of your books hard to find outside the United States?

Because I am an independent author, my resources for global distribution of my books are very limited. This means that I cannot make my books as widely available as authors who work with publishers can. My hardcovers do have global distribution, however, and you should be able to find them on most online book retailers!

What should I do if I find typos in your published books?

While I pay multiple editors and have a wonderful crew of advance readers who help me hunt for typos, sometimes a few still slip through! If you find one, you can submit it in this form and I will update the book as necessary.

Do you sell signed book plates separately?

No. Signed book plates are available with books in my shop.

When will [insert book title] come out?

The first place to check for the most current release date is always Amazon. If the book has a preorder up, the date of release is when it will be published. If it does not have a preorder, then I do not know the release date yet.

Why can I only preorder the ebook on Amazon, and not the physical copies?

Amazon does not allow preorders for paperbacks or hardbacks, so I can only set up preorders for the ebooks! But the good news is that the physical copies of my books usually release very close to the ebook.
